One of the key responsibilities of the BIE is to ensure that these students have access to a high-quality education that is tailored to their unique cultural and linguistic needs. To this end, the BIE is required to produce annual report cards that provide information on the academic performance of students in BIE-funded schools. These report cards, known as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Annual Report Cards, are intended to provide transparency and accountability for the BIE's educational programs, and to help identify areas where additional resources or support may be needed. The ESSA report cards include data on student achievement, graduation rates, and other indicators of school performance, as well as information on school demographics, funding, and other factors that may affect educational outcomes.
